Forever and ever.

We've done it.
13 years of education, from prep all the way up to year 12.
We've done it.
I'm so happy I've made so many great friends over all these years. I'm really grateful for the friends I've become closer with too, especially this year. I don't know how I would've made it without you guys. LOVE YA HEAPS.

The final assembly today was heartbreaking for some, with a few people shedding some tears but to me, I don't think it's actually sunk in that this is the absolute last year and we won't ever be going back to school in the same group we do every year. But it'll come. And when it does come, I'll cry a few tears but at the back of my mind, I'll know I still have my friends around me, my own little support system who will be there when I need them.

This year's been such a roller coaster ride. Such a cliche I kn0w, but I can't think of any other words to describe it. It's been just that. With the highs and lows. The ups and downs. The quick weeks which leave us wondering how they flew by so fast, and the slow ones where we can't wait till it's Friday period 6.

I want to thank everyone who's been a part of my high school life. Each and everyone of you is what makes life in school so interesting. Everyone is different, each with their own way of doing things. And it's this diversity I come back to, day after day, week after week, year after year, from 9:00am to 3:15pm which gets me up in the morning, bright and fresh, ready for a new day. I also want to thank all the teachers. Thanks for giving us an education (lol) , but more importantly thank you for just being there as a cohort, being able to lend us a hand when we're stuck. What we've learnt from you guys, you can't put a pricetag on it.

Finally,
FRIENDS.
You guys know who you are.
You've all been so wonderful throughout all these years.
When the sun comes up every morning, and my alarm goes off *AHHH*, I just wanna roll over and go back to sleep. But once I start thinking about the day ahead, just seeing everyone of you guys in just a couple of hours. That's what makes me TURN OFF THAT ALARM AND GET OUT OF BED.
I remember back in year 7, I didn't recognise anyone in EDSC because all my friends from my grade 6 year all lived in Sandringham/Brighton. And so they all went to school around that area. But.
On the first day of orientation, the many friendly faces which greeted me was such a wonderful feeling. I didn't have to worry about making friends anymore.
And now.
The friendships I've formed, especially in the last couple of years, I am extremely happy that I've forged them with you guys. Every day I come to a loving, caring, supportive, funny, crazy, outrageous and most random environment ever.
SCHOOL IS NOTHING WITHOUT FRIENDS.
When I stumble, I know I can just talk to you guys about it. When I fall, you guys bring me back up again. When I get stuck, you guys pull me out. You guys make me laugh, make me cry, make me love life.
I know that the friendships I've made with you guys during my journey in highschool will be ones that will be kept forever. We must all keep in contact okay? Whatever we do, wherever we go, we'll keep in touch.
The nerds, the jocks, the musically talented, the too cool for school kids, the quiet ones, the crazy ones, the strange ones, the ones who always have smiles on their faces.
We can do whatever we set our minds to.
We can achieve anything we want to achieve.

So watch out world,
you better get ready
`cause
we are the
CLASS OF 2009.

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE MEMORIES AND FUN TIMES.
GOOD LUCK AND ALL THE BEST !
I LOVE YOU ALL.
