Rock it to the early dawn

Life's funny sometimes, but all in all it works out, even in the weirdest of ways.
Like for example.
I went to get my ears pierced yesterday, and although I'm eighteen now and I don't need parental permission to get one done, the Asian in me knew that my mum wouldn't approve. Just like all of the other stereotypical Asian parentals in this world.
So I said 'SCREW YOU RANDOM ASIAN VOICE IN MY HEAD, I'M DOING THIS!'
So I did.
This would however turn ephemeral when my mum found out though.
.. which was straight away.

Just as the lady with the gun was about to shoot a hole in my ear, my mum popped up out of no where and suppressed a rage at me in the store. MY GOD IT WAS SCARY.
It was like she was on the verge of an evil tyranny, about to lay her vengeance upon me.

But anyway.
She ran away when the lady put the gun to my ear.
Just like a loving mother would when their daughter is about to get shot.
:D
Weird thing was, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would.
Actually.
It didn't hurt at all.
I'm not trying to sound all macho with my nachos because Renee and I were basically shietting ourselves silly for like 3 hours before the piercing. Running around the mall, randomly bursting into scream every half minute just because it was fitting for the day.
There was just too much hype about the pain, I think it got exaggerated.
Anyway, my point is that I think I'd much have preferred my mother to know about the piercing now rather than later when she does discover it and my once halcyon days are imbued with insouciance. And not of my wanting either.
YEAH.
In hindsight, I'm glad that she found out. I'd have felt really bad keeping it from her. And I'd probably be in even bigger shiets when she does actually find out.
SO GUYS.
THE WORLD FOR THE WIN.

Anyway.
Enough with words.
Here's a before and after shot of my hearing limb.
Before.

After.

I LOVE IT :D
Just as much as I love this orange juice.
:D
BAI.
